Who’s Writing This, Anyway?

This blog is written by James Dunham, who has a BA in Creative Writing and Philosophy from Susquehanna University. He mostly writes short stories and poems, but has also tried out novels and memoirs from time to time. He has had work published in Glossolalia Flash Fiction and Plain China, and is the author of the chapbook The Stack is Silent, an independent collection of poetry and prose. He has received editorial internships from the Northeast Modern Language Association’s academic journal Modern Language Studies and also Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society. He currently studies fiction at Bowling Green State University‘s MFA program, where he also works on Mid-American Review and teaches composition.

Jame hopes this site will be of interest and possibly instruction to writers and those interested in writing, as well as to casual readers looking for a carefully written weblog. He recognizes that writing is an art, and that most of what he has to say is strictly opinion. His aim is not to tell people how to write, but rather to make available some of what he has learned as a student and practitioner of the craft.
